Supplier Partnership

Build the Canadian market with an accountable local partner.

Evolve Clean Energy, a Canadian clean-energy company, is evaluating qualified manufacturers of solar modules, grid-tied and hybrid inverters, LFP energy-storage systems and monitoring platforms for British Columbia.

A disciplined route from technical diligence to reference projects and performance-based commercial cooperation.

Qualification path

  1. Manufacturing

    Factory identity & capacity

    1
  2. Documentation

    Model datasheets & test reports

    2
  3. Logistics

    Incoterms, lead time, transport

    3
  4. Reference install

    Commissioned & tracked locally

    4

A proposed 90-day diligence and pilot workplan — not a promise that it is already underway.

Product categories we are evaluating

We are evaluating four critical categories.

Solar PV modules

Export-ready residential and commercial models with complete model-level documentation.

Grid-tied and hybrid inverters

Local-grid configurability, anti-islanding, monitoring and firmware support.

LFP energy-storage systems

Documented inverter compatibility, transport documentation and clear cycle and warranty conditions.

Monitoring and control platforms

Customer access, installer administration, diagnostics, firmware lifecycle and data-security support.

Final product selection depends on technical review, commercial fit, applicable British Columbia requirements and customer demand.

What Evolve contributes locally

An accountable partner on the ground.

1

Market development and site qualification in British Columbia.

2

Customer bill and load discovery and system-fit assessment.

3

Installation coordination with appropriately qualified British Columbia professionals, subject to supplier and service agreements.

4

Commissioning, handover and project documentation.

5

Planned serial-level traceability and local warranty intake — to be confirmed in each agreement.

6

Proposed customer support and manufacturer escalation pathway.

7

Evidence-led market feedback and reference-project documentation.

Inventory coordination and traceability — not a confirmed warehouse. Inventory holding is addressed only once a documented facility exists and customer demand justifies it.

Qualification requirements

A skimmable diligence matrix.

Standards and product requirements are verified per model and against applicable British Columbia rules. A generic certificate does not automatically establish BC Hydro approval.

Corporate & manufacturing

Corporate ownership, factory identity, capacity and export references.

Model documentation

Model-specific datasheets and valid IEC / test reports from identifiable laboratories.

Modules

Relevant IEC 61215 / 61730 evidence where applicable.

Inverters

Safety, anti-islanding and grid protection, monitoring and firmware support; final BC Hydro compatibility to be verified.

Batteries

UN38.3, SDS, transport classification, cycle and warranty conditions and validated inverter pairing.

Warranty workflow

International warranty workflow, exclusions, response process, parts policy and end-of-life obligations.

Commercial terms

MOQ, lead time, Incoterms, payment terms, price validity and product-discontinuation notice.

Training & support

Training curriculum, technical escalation contacts, sample policy and marketing support.

Staged engagement path

A proposed 90-day diligence and pilot workplan.

01

Technical and commercial diligence

Documentation, references, RFI/RFQ and technical calls.

02

Samples and training

Compatibility review, installer and technical training and approved sample evaluation.

03

Paid reference projects

Proposed three-site pilot across two customer segments, subject to customer demand, commercial agreement and applicable approvals.

04

Performance-based cooperation

Non-exclusive purchase planning first; preferred or territorial rights only against mutually agreed volume, service, training and performance obligations.

What success looks like

  • Two qualified supply pathways for critical categories.
  • Successfully commissioned reference projects or documented reasons to extend.
  • Acceptable landed margin and service economics.
  • Complete warranty, safety and after-sales files.
  • Defined next-step commercial terms.

Mutual value

A balanced cooperation, not a transaction.

For the supplier

  • Focused British Columbia route to market.
  • Local customer qualification and project execution.
  • Structured product feedback and reference evidence.
  • Local warranty intake and reputation protection.

For Evolve and customers

  • Documented, supportable technology.
  • Training and escalation access.
  • Predictable product lifecycle and parts support.
  • Commercial terms that support responsible local service.
