British Columbia

A Canadian clean-energy company, focused on British Columbia.

Evolve Clean Energy is a Canadian clean-energy company helping homes, businesses and farms across British Columbia evaluate solar, battery storage and resilience solutions around real energy use, site conditions and long-term service.

Operating model

Building accountable Canadian operations in BC — on evidence, not promises.

This page states what Evolve Clean Energy is building in British Columbia, the market facts we plan against, and what we will not claim until the underlying relationships and agreements are in place.

The company does not represent itself as a confirmed equipment distributor, a holder of a warehouse, or an operator of a standing installation crew. Each capability below is described as planned or proposed, and is confirmed in writing as supplier and service agreements are completed.

In one line

A Canadian clean-energy company helping homes, businesses and farms across British Columbia evaluate solar, battery storage and resilience solutions around real energy use and long-term service.

Operating focus

Across British Columbia.

Lower Mainland core

Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley — diverse residential, commercial and agricultural demand close to home, where disciplined after-sales can be proven.

Vancouver Island & Coast

Coastal wind, rain and outage exposure that rewards careful storage and mounting design.

BC Interior

Higher solar resource and rural, off-grid and agricultural demand — from the Okanagan to the Kootenays.

Beyond British Columbia, requests are considered on a case-by-case basis where the economics and serviceability hold up.

Market & regulation we plan against

The facts that shape a BC system.

BC Hydro self-generation

BC Hydro closed the net metering service rate (RS 1289) to new customers on July 1, 2026, replacing it with a self-generation rate (RS 2289). We plan against the current rate, not outdated guides.

BC solar resource

Natural Resources Canada's PV maps show roughly 1,000 kWh/kWp per year in the Lower Mainland and more in the Interior — background, not a guaranteed site yield.

Permits and licensing

BC solar electrical work generally needs a Technical Safety BC electrical contractor licence, a Field Safety Representative and an electrical installation permit.

Rebates

BC Hydro and CleanBC have offered solar and battery rebates in qualifying situations. Eligibility and amounts change — confirm before relying on them.

Planned operating capability

What we are building — and what is still to be confirmed.

Supplier relationships

Developing qualified supplier relationships for modules, inverters, LFP storage and monitoring — each model verified against BC conditions and BC Hydro grid compatibility.

Installation coordination

Coordinating with appropriately qualified, Technical Safety BC-licensed installation professionals — to be confirmed in each agreement.

Inventory coordination & traceability

A planned path to local handling with serial-level traceability for warranty and replacements — not a confirmed warehouse, addressed once documented facility and customer demand exist.

Installer training

Developing standardised installation and commissioning practice with selected partners — proposed, to be confirmed in each agreement.

Local warranty intake

A planned local point to raise issues and start a warranty claim, with a documented escalation path to the manufacturer — to be confirmed in each written proposal.

After-sales support

Monitoring access, planned serial tracking, performance review and maintenance options — confirmed in each written proposal where the service agreement provides for them.

These are planned operating capabilities and a proposed service pathway, developed as supplier and service agreements are confirmed — not completed infrastructure.

Principles

Three positions we hold.

Canadian company

Evolve is a Canadian clean-energy company, accountable for every project it takes on.

British Columbia focus

Operations are focused on British Columbia — not an undefined national rollout.

Evidence before claims

Capabilities are described as planned or proposed until a supplier or service agreement confirms them.
